Ganga Seva Samiti (GSS) is a registered non-profit organization, working since 2007 to bring positive change in the lives of underprivileged communities—especially children and women—through education, healthcare, women’s empowerment, and sustainable livelihood programs.
Founded by Mr. Pankaj Mishra, who himself rose above the challenges of rural hardship, GSS was born out of a deep belief that knowledge leads to awareness, awareness leads to self-development, and self-development leads to empowerment.
From humble beginnings, we have grown into a trusted grassroots organization, creating strong links between rural communities and government resources, and building partnerships with government bodies, NGOs, and corporate organizations. Our work is driven by people’s participation, ensuring that communities are not just beneficiaries, but active partners in the change process.
This organization has been built on the values of kindness, compassion, dignity, respect, and excellence. These values are the pillars of our programs and innovative approach to delivery, which encourage critical thinking, self- confidence and resilience in the children, youth and families we serve in order to create cycles of success for generations to come.
